EXHIBITION; REVOLUTION! - BLUMEN IM FRÜHLING

    02 September 2020

    By Katja Schmolka @katjaschmolka

Flowers are a symbol of love, tolerance, peace, innocence, loyalty, bravery, generosity, freedom and change.

Biennale Austria association and Galerie Art Pool Vienna are announcing the exhibition REVOLUTION! - BLUMEN IM FRÜHLING (FLOWERS IN SPRING), starting on September 3rd on view until September, 10 2020 in Vienna, Austria.

The gallery walls are adorned by work of eleven renowned artists who brought their very own visions of the theme of revolution in context of flowers to their white canvases, channeled through their very own perception.

The intriguing title of the exhibition mirrors the fierce energy of REVOLUTION and the notion that comes with it. FLOWERS have been symbol for revolution for centuries, embracing the synonym for re-birth even under the most difficult circumstances. Conveying the duality of life and death as the new begins and the old familiar ends. Whether we like it or not this is the mere circle of life.

    Participating artists are:

Werner Otto Egelhofer, Daisy Gold, Ulrich Kirsch, Marlis Lepicnik, Ada Mee, Karl Nackler, Elisabeth Rass, Herwig Maria Stark, Manfredo Weihs, Sylvia Wutsch, Ekaterina Zacharova.
