    CHIC PURE - Valentino SS 2020 Eyewear Collection

    It's already time to start thinking about the glasses that we will wear next spring and summer 2020. Among the most beloved and representative brands of Made in Italy, Valentino, undoubtedly represents one of the top brands that we envy the most abroad. 

    La maison Valentino was founded in Rome in 1960 and since then represents one of the highest expressions of couture savoir-faire and excellence made in Italy.

    Elegance, delicacy and pure dedication to sartorial culture pervade the vibrant and ethereal atmosphere of the palazzo Mignanelli atelier, where timelessly elegant creations come to life every day. Pierpaolo Piccioli, Creative Director Valentino, leads the innovation of the maison, inspired by a deeply humanistic conception of creativity as an individual process. 

    The accessories reflect these main characteristics of Valentino fashion in a contemporary aesthetic vision, going beyond the rules, leaving room for the fusion of styles to experiment with themselves and their uniqueness. 

    The Eyewear collection is an example of how this research can be translated into highly contemporary eyewear. Inspired by the nonconformist and intellectual strength of punk and the timeless charm of the glam Capitoline style of the 60s and 70s.

    The V logo as an expression of identity gives an authentic essence to the new eyewear collection. Individuality and inclusiveness are the values with which the brand identifies itself, symbolically contained in the small and precious stud that is the signature of the auctions of all the Maison's eyewear.

    A tribute to the beauty and individuality of contemporary women. 



    The jewel eyewear with its Seventies look has large gray gradient lenses and temples designed by a V logo in bold dimensions. The slim and precious ruthenium frame is lined - bridge and helix included - with a full pavè composed of Swarovsky crystals and very small round studs that amplify the brightness. The elegance of the model, combined with the refinement of craftsmanship create a charm that perfectly combines heritage and modernity. As usual, the ends of the rods are completed by the brand's iconic stud. The glasses come in a Valentino pink velvet case.


    The elegant rectangular sunglasses with bold profile and sculpted edges have their focal point in the shaft, where an iconic full size V logo is embedded. A highly recognizable detail found on many accessories in the SS 2020 collection, the monogram is made of gummetal metal and enriched by a sparkling pavé that mixes Swarovsky crystals and tiny round studs that amplify its luminosity. The exclusive craftsmanship also lightens the frame, giving the fit a perfect balance. Finished with the brand's classic stud on the end of the rod, the model is available in black acetate or havana with lenses in nuance, and is enclosed in a velvety red valentine case.

    These creations are further confirmation of the great appeal that the Maison Valentino has always exerted and represents with its style, two exclusive models destined to become a must for next spring summer 2020. We are convinced of this, what about you?
